For How Long Have You Had Only One Key to Open Your Safe???For those of you who have the keys that secure the main door or inner compartment of your safe, if you lost or damaged the duplicate key, we can duplicate it or even replace the key lock, if it's deemed necessary (or beneficial). High Security Keys For those of you who misplaced or lost the main door operating key, somewhere, but don't really know where or when, which means that there's a slight possibility that it may get into the wrong hands......the best solution may be to replace the remaining key with a new set of keys with a different key code. You may have a key lock that cannot be retrofitted with a new key code, so you may need to replace the entire key lock....with one that is "key-changeable"....so if you lose one key in the future, all you'll have to do is get 2 new keys that you can probably change yourself, at a much lower cost! For those of you who already have "key-changeable" key locks, all you'll need to do is buy a new set of keys, along with the "change key" and the instructions to change the keyway, without having to pay us for a site visit to do it for you! If you know exactly where you lost your key, and know that nobody will ever get his/her hands on it, you can always have us duplicate the current key. But consider the advantage of the "key-changeable" key lock....it may cost you similar dollars now and a lot less in the future! Low Security Keys (inside compartment keys) Unless they are very unique and sophisticated European or Scandinavian keys, a typical compartment door key is easy to replace at a low cost. Again, should the key you lost or misplaced possibly fall into the wrong hands, we suggest that you replace the entire key lock...or if your lock can be reset, have two entirely new keys made for it.
